The Writing Pathway

The Writing Pathway is a free, research-proven scope & sequence for teaching writing, with AI tools that create practice for students in any subject or curriculum, grades 3-12. First incubated at Quill.org in 2021 and now part of the Studio at Teaching Lab, the Pathway aims to bring coherence to writing instruction by providing a logical progression of writing skills—a writing pathway—that educators across the country can use in their classrooms, for free.
